THE REVIEW

I was able to sample the Brownies Sampler Bakery Gift. This particular $34.99 ensemble includes 2 each of the following flavors:

· Belgian Chocolate Chunk
· White Chocolate Macadamia Blonde
· Butterscotch Blonde
· Cheesecake
· Peanut Butter
· Fudge Walnut

The portions are well-sized, ranging from 3.5 to 4oz's apiece. Naturally they all were delicious; there were no complaints, only oo's & ah's by the family, & the brownies were polished off within 2 days. Soft & easy to bite into, they stayed in tact during each bite. I've had the experience of crumbs getting everywhere in the past, so this was a nice change. The toppings truly engulf the flavoring of each brownie, & add to it's texture. For instance, the Peanut Butter Brownie had a slight crunch to it, & the more I chewed it, the more peanut butter I began to taste.

MY FAVORITE

I never had before got the concept of "gourmet" until I tasted the Cheesecake Brownie. It has such a simple name, & yet an intricate look. I'd say it's portioned with 70% dark, gooey brownie & topped with 30% sweet, tasty cheesecake. As a very picky cheesecake eater, you can take my word when I say it was absolutely delicious (yes, more-so than the picture portrays). Sometimes brownies can be "too" rich- this is NOT one of those brownies.
